Responsibilities

Our Area Sales Managers are vital because they demonstrate Sonendo’ s core values in their assigned geographic territories. We count on our Area Sales Managers to create continued sales growth within a defined territory, but just as important to their sales goals, is the HOW they get to those goals are vital. Our Area Sales Managers are exemplary and professional that is consistent with Sonendo strategic goals and corporate vision.

  • Create consistent sales growth (console and consumable) within a defined territory, in an exemplary and professional fashion that is consistent with Sonendo strategic goals and corporate vision.
  • Responsible for driving and maintaining new customers utilization for a minimum of 3 months
  • Recruit prospective GentleWave customers to professional education activities to include: 1.0 courses, case observations, peer to peer calls, test drives
  • Support existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential customers.
  • Focuses sales efforts by targeting ideal dental customer segments.
  • Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
  • Adhere to any activity related to funnel management, work plans, monthly, and annual territory analyses using the available tools including but not limited to Salesforce.com
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Provide historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of directly related sales experience required
  • Must have a successful track record of selling disruptive medical device products and/or procedures
  • Must have the ability to engage and service customers that will drive continued product utilization.
  • Must be able to help clinicians and their staff deal with change.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary representation for Sonendo toward external community
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
  • Technology proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook, Salesforce.com).
  • Must have a valid drivers license.

Physical Requirements

  • The ability to travel related to this role required. Must be willing and able to travel up to 65% overnight locally, regionally, and nationally sometimes.

  • Standing, walking, and meeting activities are required frequently throughout the workday.

  • Normal sight or corrected vision is required to read documents and use standard computer terminals.
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.

Compensation

We pay competitively. Base salary: $85,000. Other paid compensation and benefits may be available.
