Responsibilities

  • Initiate complaints and determine Medical Device Reporting reportability (MDR)
  • Follow the complaint handling process and associated Quality System procedures under close supervision
  • Following established job aides and procedures, complete complaint investigations, including sample evaluation (handpiece and console), sample receiving, complaint record review with all necessary records tied to complaints (DHR’s, Service Calls, RIF’s), and root cause analysis
  • Maintenance of Complaints Lab including coordinating equipment/tools calibration, maintaining lab cleanliness and supplies, organization of returned samples and disposal
  • Ability to work cross functionally with Engineering, OPS, QC as needed
  • Maintain compliance with Quality System procedures and company policies
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associate degree preferred
  • 0-2 years of experience in a regulated industry (medical device preferred)

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
  • Must be able to safely move up to 25 lbs
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time.
  • Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).

Compensation

We pay competitively. Base hourly rate range is $22.00 - $27.39. Other paid compensation and benefits may be available.
